The brief for this project was to refurbish and extend an existing house into an existing south facing narrow space available on the site to provide a new living area for the family. The project took place over 6 months from winter of 2022 to spring of 2023. The design employs , opening rooflights which are detailed to span over new exposed wooden roof joists, painted steel beams and a slate floor.
