This timber-framed house is designed as a holiday house for a couple with visiting family and friends. The site is situated within a disused quarry facing the Skellig islands. The brief was for a four-bedroom house with a study, utility, and storage. The master bedroom, living accommodation and study have been placed on the first floor to take advantage of the spectacular views and a timber deck spans between the house and the hill at first-floor level.
