The brief for this project was to reorder and refurbish a West Cork residence built in the 1970s. For this project, a house that was previously subdivided into two separate units was restored to one full unit. Situated by the sea, the property sits on a penninsula looking out over a cove. Through phased restoration and maintenance works, the original architectural expression of the house has been renewed, with the living accommodation oriented toward the cove to the south. Careful attention was paid to the existing house, with original features retained accordingly.
