The scope of work for this domestic extension to an end-of-terrace family home in West Cork included a comprehensive reordering and refurbishment of the existing house, with relocated stairs and circulation spaces. The existing is a stone-faced two storey semi-detached house. The purpose of this extension was to connect the living accommodation with the garden to the east, breathing life into the rear garden space and creating a light-filled central living space. This project also included in the scope, the construction of a new stand alone store and garden, with landscaping works employed to bring the two together. The result is an open interior layout that forms a connection between the existing house and garden.
