The building is positioned on the site to create a separate quiet play area between the building and a line of mature trees following the course of an existing stream.
Access to the site is from both north and south. On approaching the school from either side the visitor follows the blue wall and arrives at the same entrance point.
The school is designed so that the entrance areas, the play areas and the circulation are easily overlooked. The hall and classroom elements can be easily expanded in the future. |
